Our walk leader, Martin Bennett, will guide us through different Eucalypt forests and woodland featuring the Helidon Hills’ amazing diversity of understorey plants. May 26, 2024Observe LUCI volunteers’ weed treatment work in Flaggy Creek CP, supported by a Friends of Parks Qld grant. Hosted by Penny and Mark Kidd, the event will involve a “4WD tour” along the Park boundary with stops to demonstrate –
- impacts of weed management intervention
- weed methods used
- where visible or audible, highlight some species identified in flora and fauna surveys
- discussion supported by map (include road, treatment polygon, RE)
Morning tea provided. Wear bush-proof clothes, boots and bring a water bottle.
