Come along to the LUCI stall at the Ma Ma Creek Community Market and learn about the amazing diversity of native animals in the Lockyer, their habitat needs, what are the threats facing them and what you can do to help sustain them. 9:30 am: Native grasses and grassy habitats of the Lockyer workshop

Learn to identify a range of native grasses and their ecological function with Dr Darren Fielder, Red Leaf Environmental, and help create a field booklet and herbarium of native grasses in the Lockyer.    An interactive workshop at the Ma Ma Creek Community Hall followed by a site visit.  For more information visit LUCI's website.  Places are limited, register at lucatchmentsinc@gmail.com.

A practical, hands on workshop with Karen Gruner, Tanglewood Natives, covering tools for propagation, different seed types, collection and storage, pretreating seeds, seeding into trays/pots, how to take cuttings and aerial layering.
